Canada Day – Anniversary of the union of British North America Provinces in a Federation under the name of Canada on July 1, 1867

Labour Day – First Monday of September

Thanksgiving Day – Second Monday of October for general Thanksgiving

Remembrance Day – Formerly Armistice Day and observed ever 11th of November

Christmas Day – Celebrated every 25th of December

Boxing Day – The day after Christmas in honor of St. Stephen.
