Manitoba is a province of open grasslands on the south, forests in the middle and bush and tundra on the north. Its climate ranges from arctic like winters to warm summers. Winnipeg is its Capital city and is a major cultural center known for its music and multicultural festivals. The northern town of Churcill on Hudson Bay attracts many visitors because of its wildlife – particularly the Polar Bears.
The province is bordered by the provinces of Ontario to the east and Saskatchewan to the west, the territories of Nunavut and Northwest Territories to the north, and the US states of North Dakota and Minnesota to the south. It adjoins Hudson Bay to the northeast, and is the only prairie province with a coastline
