This region is comprised of the following provinces:

  • New Brunswick
  • Nova Scotia
  • Prince Edward Island
  • New Foundland
  • Portion of Quebec south of the St. Lawrence River

The Appalachian Region Scenery

Terrain and Natural Resources: Mixture of rocky shoreline, sandy beaches, rich farmland and thick forests. The ancient volcanic activities formed the hills and valleys on this region.
